Juan Mendez is the creator, founder and general manager of La Toundra de Montréal. Former member of the Canadian national basketball team
Canadian national basketball player, Juan played for the Niagara University men's basketball team from 2001 to 2005, as well as several teams in Europe and Asia. He was also an assistant coach for the McGill University men's basketball team. In 2014, he was the first Canadian to be inducted into the MAAC Naismith Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
